Bayou Babies and The New Kid at School is a children's book that centers on a group of little swamp creatures on their first day of school. There's a new student in their classroom and they're all excited to meet him or her. When they do, they realize that the student is different than they expected and they make fun of them. By the end of the story, they all end up as friends after some soul searching was done by the main character. It's basically a story about bullying and how we can all get along and make friends with others that might not be just like us. A cute book with adorable characters that children will love and a positive message that they will take to heart.
