You will benefit from these concepts that you grasp, and the videos will reinforce what you've learned. What is the key takeaway of this book? You’ll take away valuable skills that can be used to manage real Ubuntu servers. And I mean that very literally – Mastering Ubuntu Server is modeled after real-world scenarios that system administrators and engineers actually encounter on a regular basis. For example, if you want to know how to deploy Ubuntu Server, it's covered; if you're looking for guidance on how to deploy a hosted application, it's covered; and if you're tasked with migrating solutions to the cloud, that’s also covered. If your server isn't operating correctly, troubleshooting skills are covered too. Compared to previous editions, what is different about this edition? Quite a bit of effort was put into testing each of the examples against Ubuntu 22.04, so there's countless changes and adjustments throughout. Since the previous edition was written, many new educational videos have been released on the LearnLinuxTV YouTube channel, and most of the chapters in this version link to videos from that channel whenever there's a match with the current topic. In fact, many of those videos were updated for Ubuntu 22.04 as well. Therefore, I think Mastering Ubuntu Server is part of a learning platform of its own instead of being just a book.
