About the Authors Susan Raatz Stephenson, MS, MA Ed, RDMS, RVT, CIIP, joined the sonography community in 1983, when she attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center DMS program. She holds a master of science degree from the University of Utah and a master of arts from the University of Phoenix. Susan has created online learning materials for Philips Healthcare, Samsung Healthcare, and Siemens, including the Healthineers project. She has taught at George Washington University and many other colleges. Dr. Nirvikar Dahiya, MD, is chair of the division of ultrasound at Mayo Clinic Arizona. He has worked with ultrasound for 22 years, completing his fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in the MSK ultrasound subspecialty. Winner of the Larry Mack award from the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound and the Teacher of the Year award from the Mayo Clinic, he's an internationally known lecturer and educator.
