The reaction and response from the future king to Abigail's timely word can be found in 1 Samuel 25:32-33, "David replied to Abigail, ‘Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who has sent you to meet me; today you have saved my destiny!’” I am in no way condoning the sin or the hurt that so many men have caused women and families, but we need to do something for the future generations.
