QU Wedding is a rhyming story that highlights the spelling rule of the letter Q. The letter Q is almost always being followed by the letter U. Mr. Q is at Diamond Park playing alone. He suddenly realizes that things aren’t quite right. He can’t spell words correctly. He sees Ms. U and they discuss what to do. They decided he needed Ms. U to make the /kw/ sound to spell words like quack, quartz and queen. The two letters will unite with a wedding ceremony at Diamond Park. The illustrations and colors are kid friendly and adorable featuring rainbows, hot air balloons, playground equipment, a park and hearts throughout. The repetition of the letters Q and U are repeated throughout the story for instant recognition as children learn about the two alphabet letters.
