The first version of this book was published in 2012, which is an age ago in web development terms. Read more When you talk about building "future-proof responsive websites", how future-proof do you mean? The great thing about the web is it incredibly backwards-compatible. That means if you write standards compliant HTML5/CSS and JavaScript, which is what we concentrate on in the book, you’ll be in the best possible shape. This book concentrates on building websites that will work just fine on all manner of devices in at least 5-10 years from now.
