The 100 Days of Home School research lab realized that specific numbers are easier for kids to draw neatly, starting bottom up. Those numbers are 2, 3, and 5. This research has also shown that it's easier for kids to write the number 4 top-down and then right to left. The tracing guide for each number in Simple Beginning Math is formatted to support this innovative research.
