STEP 1 This trick takes a little bit of preparation and requires a set deck, so make sure you have it ready to pull out of your pocket. PREP: Separate the deck out into red and black piles. Put one pile on top of the other so you have just one pile. You are now ready to start this trick. STEP 2 Fan out the cards face down to a spectator, being sure to fan only cards from the top half of the deck. Ask them to choose and memorize a card. Fan out the deck again, but this time fanning out the bottom half of the deck. Ask the spectator to put their card somewhere back into the deck (in the bottom half). STEP 3 Now say a magic word, like "ALAKAZAM!" and wave your hand over the deck. Now pick up the deck and search through the deck. Look out for the odd card, for example, the red card among black cards, or the black card among red cards. This is their card. It's time to amaze everyone by magically revealing their card! 1.
