The dedication reads, "To ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL Who has taught the deaf to speak and enabled the listening ear to hear speech from the Atlantic to the Rockies, I dedicate this Story of My Life." Keller first began to write The Story of My Life in 1902, when she was still a student at Radcliffe College. It was first published in the Ladies Home Journal.This edition has all 3 original sections: Story Of My Life, Letters, And A Supplementary Account of Her Education. It also includes 18 illustrations.
