Q&A with author Amy Clipston How did you research the culture of the Lancaster County Amish community? I have a dear Amish friend who answers all of my questions. She lives in Lancaster County, PA, and I visit her at least once a year as well as speak to her on the phone frequently. She has helped to inspire my books, and she suggested I write about a marketplace since her daughters used to work at a market. What common themes appear throughout your work? My books always contain a theme of second chances and renewed faith in God.
