He taught public high school and was an adjunct professor for Nashville State Community College.Reid has been a full-time teacher of firearms and tactics since 2013. In 2015 he founded Valor Ridge with the purpose of graduating proficient, dedicated, and disciplined students. Students who value this country and its foundational principles of liberty, limited government, and natural rights tend to train there. Reid believes that confidence and competence with firearms is a decision away, and coupled with hard work, anyone can achieve their goals if they are willing to sacrifice for them.
