I implore us not to give into the mirage of elsewhere, the mystique of over there. I Implore us not to shut our eyes to our own material circumstances. In magic we refuse to ignore the relationships we always already have with material bodies. Magic is an act of aft, philosophy and ontological production; it is an act and labor of love. Wonder emerges simply from doing and interacting with bodies in magic. Magic is an orienting corpus. It gives direction. It is a body, too. It shapes the humans who touch it. Each moment in magic is dialogic, pedagogic.
