Meet the Men of the Sisterhood! The characters that appear in Fern Michaels’ Men of the Sisterhood series were all first featured in her long-running, bestselling Sisterhood series. Over the course of almost thirty books, the fictional group of fearless female vigilantes have traveled the globe, faced down a wide-ranging host of villains, and also made many allies along the way. In Double Down, the first book in the Men of the Sisterhood series, several of those male allies of the Sisterhood form BOLO ('Be On the Lookout'), their very own off-the-grid spy group with the shared goal of seeking justice for the downtrodden. Here’s a rundown of the founding members of BOLO, also known as the Men of the Sisterhood! Jack Emery Jack made his debut in Weekend Warriors, the very first book in the Sisterhood series. He started out as a district attorney and the boyfriend of Sisterhood member Nikki Quinn, and they eventually marry later in the series. Over the course of many books, Jack’s career has since evolved from D.A. to lawyer at his wife’s own firm, to consultant to author to full-time member and co-founder of BOLO. Ted Robinson Ted is an investigative reporter and romantically linked to Maggie Spritzer, a fellow journalist and also a member of the Sisterhood. He is the star reporter at the Post. Harry Wong In many ways the muscle of the group thanks to his mastery of martial arts, Harry is a steadfast ally of the Sisterhood via his marriage to member Yoko. Harry teaches martial arts when not running missions for BOLO. Bert Navarro Former head of the FBI, Bert has enjoyed a long-term romance with Kathryn, a member of the Sisterhood. Bert utilizes his spy skills and expertise as a former government operative during BOLO’s many risky missions. He’s considered the long-distance member of the group. Joe Espinosa Joe is a photojournalist by trade who, like Ted, uses his investigative and research skills as well as his large network of contacts to aid in BOLO missions. Dennis West Dennis, via a large personal fortune, is the chief financial backer of BOLO. Much to his delight, he’s unanimously voted into membership in Double Down, the first book in the series. Dennis also works as a reporter alongside Ted at the Post. Cyrus Cyrus is Jack and Nikki’s 140-pound black German shepherd, and the unofficial mascot of BOLO. Exceptionally smart and well-trained, he often takes an active role on missions. Indeed, it’s Cyrus’s keen senses that kick off the adventure in Truth or Dare, the fourth book in the Men of the Sisterhood series! While the above characters are the founders of BOLO, over the course of the books in the Men of the Sisterhood series they’ve been joined by several new recruits, including a super-spy and a computer hacker extraordinaire. As the group has grown, so too has their list of enemies, including a vicious group of gangs gunning for control of Las Vegas in the forthcoming book, Hot Shot.
